The Hallelujah Trail ride on May 27, 28, 29 is CANCELLED. The trails have far too much winter damage for Tribby's to get them ready. Linda has been trying but she says running out of time. They will still have the Oregon Outback Pioneer rides in July.

NW: Limestone Challenge
June 10 in Selma, OR
The trail will be different this year, no stairway to heaven. Finally made a 25 miler and it will be easier for you. The 50 mile ride is still a challenge. There is lots of water on the trail this year. The rocks are not too bad this year even with all the rain. Camp is still in the nice hay field, plenty of grass and space for us all.
Poker ride for all distances (high hand wins their ride fee back, 25 and 50 mile distances). First hand free with ride entry, extra hands $ 5.00 each.
Friday night potluck bring your favorite dish to share!
Chili and corn bread feed on Saturday night before awards. ( vegetarian chili also)
There will be a photographer
Looking forward to all your smiling faces and beautiful horses

CT: Ozark Trail
September 23 2017 - Steelville, Missouri
The Ozark Trails 75/100 is a point to point 75/100 mile endurance ride, with the 75 being an elevator, that follows the historic Ozark Trail from Steelville, MO to Black, MO, through the Ozark mountains.
If you've never ridden on The Ozark Trail it is honestly what I think of when I daydream about endurance riding. Mostly single track and forest service two track, it is a technical trail that will challenge you in the vein of Tevis or Bighorn or Old Dominion...
Come join us for a challenge right here in the middle of the country! learn more form our website http://ozarktrailsendurance.com/

W: Nevada Derby I & II
The NV Derby ride is alive and well, and will be held on 1st/2nd of April. Entries to be found on the NASTR.org website.
The ride will be at Washoe Valley and although the camp is the same as the old Washoe Valley ride, the trail is *not* the same.
Because the ride is early in the season, the NV Derby ride does not include the SOBs (I know - you're all disappointed), nor does it include the exciting romp at the end alongside waves crashing on the Washoe Lake beach.
Ride manager Beth Kauffmann promises the weather will be perfect riding temperature - 55°-60° with no wind (she's tight with the weather gods).
Although the trail has some erosion, your trail worker-bees are slaving away to put on a fabulous ride.
Don't forget, Saturday's 50 is also the first leg of the NASTR Triple Crown (NV Derby 50/NASTR 75/Virginia City 100). This is your chance to earn yourself an embroidered jacket and be the envy of your friends.
A reminder that today (Friday) is the last day to receive the "early entry" rate of $90 for the endurance rides - entries must be post-marked 3/24.
This is one of the best value rides around - very few endurance rides can be found for less than $100 nowadays. Yet you'll still have stellar vets, attentive ride management, fun volunteers, and excellently marked trail!
