SE: Broxton Bridge USA SE Summer Fundraiser

25/30/55 ~ July 4, 2015
25 mile ride early Saturday morning and then
30/55 Saturday evening! Introductory Ride both times

Location: Broxton Bridge Plantation is located 7 miles south of Ehrhardt on Hwy 601, 12 miles north of Hampton on Hwy 601 North and 25 miles from I-95 and Walterboro via Hwys 64, Hwy 641 and on to Hwy 601. GPS 1685 Broxton Bridge Road, Ehrhardt, SC, or N32.59.989 W81.03.121. (or click for directions)

Trails: All trails are hard and soft sand shaded primarily by pines and old growth hardwoods. There are some roots, but you can ride barefoot.

Camping: Covered corrals and corral panels are available. Covered corrals are $20 per night (VERY LIMITED NUMBER AVAILABLE MUST PAY IN ADVANCE) and four-panel corrals are $9 per night. To reserve panels and covered corrals see the ride registration form. Remember, each horse owner, trainer and/or rider is responsible for safe camping and restraint of their horses. We thank those of you who rake up all hay/manure and put it into blue tubs - some people do not clean up at all, and Broxton asks that we implement a clean-up fee of $25 if you do not rake up hay/manure into piles and put into tubs. We are not the only group who loves this facility so please help us keep it clean!

Electric/Lodging: To reserve an electric hook-up, see the ride reservation form. There is a bath house on grounds. See http://www.broxtonbridge.com for additional info on facilities at the Trail Ride/RV Park tab. Camp will open Friday, July 3rd at 10 am. Primitive camping for $15 per night is available on the banks of the Salkehatchie River for early arrivals or late departures after Sunday. Historic lodges which are ON THE GROUNDS are $80 per room per night. GREAT FISHING available for non-riding family members!

Cancellations: If you should have to cancel or withdraw before vet in, entry fees will be refunded, minus the $20 (per ride) non-refundable portion of your entry; however, no-shows/no-calls and withdrawals or pulls after vetting in will not receive any refunds. Meal tickets are non-refundable unless your ticket can be sold. Cancellations must be made directly to ride management.

Farrier and Vet Fees: Riders will be responsible for any individual farrier (if available) or vet services. We do not have a farrier confirmed at this time.

Junior Riders: Must wear helmets and be accompanied by an adult over 21.

Awards: Daily completion awards to all. Top Ten awards for the 25/30/55 along with Best Condition for each distance.

Introductory ride completion awards are also given.

Registration/Fees: To avoid the $20 late fee per ride, ride applications must be received on or before June 23, 2015 and include a $20 non-refundable deposit PER RIDE. We must have written notice (email) that you are coming and will pay the non-refundable deposit if plans change. We WILL hunt you down as this is a fundraiser and we will have bought food and prizes for you! AERC charges us a $15 fee for all competition riders who are not current members or you can join on-line or on site. Each 25/30/55 ride entry is $120 to include a Saturday afternoon meal and primitive camping for Friday & Saturday nights. Fees for juniors are $65 for any distance 25/30/55 and the fee for the 15 mile introductory rides is $60. This is a great deal as it INCLUDES two nights camping. On-site registration begins Friday at 3 pm. Vet in to follow. One multi-ride discount of $10 if you ride in the morning and evening.

Food: Each rider will receive a meal on Saturday afternoon. The Broxton Bridge Snack Shack will also be open.
